Lack of Proper Jobs for Fresh Graduates
Finding jobs in Bangladesh is already very difficult. It is even more difficult for the students of private universities. especially the struggle of the students of mid-level private universities is heartbreaking. We all know that unemployment rate in Bangladesh is high and the job market for fresh graduates is very competitive. It is even more competitive for the private university students. It is nearly impossible to get proper jobs without any direct connections or recommendations. The recruitment process for fresh graduates is almost the same for every organization. Candidates are chosen on the basis of area of expertise. Academic background and CGPA is also considered. Applicants of the public and top private universities are given priorities. It is even declared in the job circular most of the time. So now where will the graduates of other private universities go?Are they less qualified?
This situation either led to unemployment or the graduates are forced to accept jobs that are way under their qualification in order to survive. In both cases, living standards are lowered.
